Want to join the fun?
(and work here, sooo close to the beach?)

We welcome people from around the world as graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and visiting researchers. We strive to be a diverse and inclusive group so we encourage applications and partnerships from underrepresented groups including women, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, members of visible minorities, and persons of any sexual orientation or gender identity. While physical mobility and visual acuity are useful for some of our field-based research, they are by no means requirements to be a good researcher or a valuable member of our team.  I encourage all interested people, regardless of physical ability, to consider a career in research and to get in touch.

We also strive for productive, rich and equitable relationships as outlined in our Researcher-Professor Agreement.

For graduate students: if you are a talented, engaged person interested in similar research topics please complete this webform to reduce bias in recruitment (instead of directly contacting Tom). Hydrogeology is a "recession-proof" career reports Science...

For postdoctoral fellows and visiting researchers: our research group is a great place to learn and grow especially if you can come with your own funding - please get in touch.
